Thursday's meeting with Boss went well. Pay structure that was offered was right within the amounts I was hoping it would be, plus there was an added bonus structure that I hadn't expected. Always nice.
I was also given a promotion with respect to the shows we run. Again, very cool; but not surprising. Flattering for sure, though.
Las Vegas was a total blast. I took so many pictures, and I can't wait to go through them on a bigger screen to find the best ones. I might even get Hubby to show me how to put together a little running video stream with the photos, subtitles and sound effects. (Hubby has the most interesting programs...)
Apparently S didn't do as well with my leaving as he had indicated at home; in S's agenda on Thursday afternoon was a note indicating that he had been acting up in school, and the EA asked if my trip was coming up. I couldn't answer because I was on my trip. He had a Science worksheet assigned on Thursday night and it was due today. S lied (or rather didn't offer) about having homework and didn't get it completed. I have had work on some it when he first got home and then he will finish the balance of it after supper tonight.
The A-man fared much better with respect to my going away, but he has never had the same concerns about my trips as S does.
Poor Hubby got a grouchy, tired wife coming in the door this afternoon. Our garbage and green bins didn't get picked up on Thursday as they were supposed to be, and when I pulled in to the driveway this afternoon and saw the bins and the garbage STILL sitting there, well, I was annoyed with both Hubby and the garbage man for not dealing with it. I'm pretty sure the person at the county office didn't like my phone call this afternoon. (It will be really bad if they don't pick it up tomorrow as they indicated they would.)
I did have a pretty good, solid sleep for the afternoon - red-eye flights are never good - and I'm happy to say that I think the boys will have a somewhat coherent, pleasant Mom for the evening. Dinner is baking in the oven and I'm going to just take it easy for the night.

Off again...
Boss and I have a lunch 'date' today. Review time... I sure hope I am able to get the raise amount that I have calculated. He knows I've been very patient with this, so hopefully he will make it worthy, you know?
The boys had a PA day last Friday, which gave them a four day weekend. The A-man was greatly annoyed that he had been assigned both History and Science homework "over a holiday." I told him to get used to it - that's life. I also suggested that he consider the Friday as a special work day, and if he got the homework all done that day, technically he wouldn't have homework on the holiday weekend. He didn't buy that.
By supper time on Monday, though, the A-man was finished all of him homework. I did ask him about it once over the weekend, but after that, I decided it was time to just let him schedule himself, and see where the chips fell. I'm proud of him - he did it.
Actually, it would appear he did it pretty well. Got an 84% on the History report, and hasn't yet received the Science back. I would think he did okay; he's a natural at Science.
S has become the General Manager of the boys' volleyball team at school. I guess his EA is a team coach, and in order to still coach the team during lunch and still do her job with S, she had to give him something to do to justify him being there. He's thrilled. The other day I gave him his money for a team shirt, and was so proud to come home and show it to all of us. It even has "GM" on the back where others would have a number. He'll be traveling to away games with the team, and I have reminded him that proper behaviour is a must at ALL events.
The first game is next Tuesday - a home game. I can tell that for S, having a 'special' job is such an esteem booster. He's such a great kid... I just wish other kids his age would be able to accept his quirkiness. Perhaps in time the Aspergers would be quite so pronounced and he will be better accepted by peers. Maturity - of both S and his peers - should also help...
I am all packed a ready to go on my birthday get-away with friends. My bags are packed and Sammy will be here around 4 this afternoon to head to the airport. The others will be meeting us there. Just checked the weather in Vegas, and it is supposed to be in the high 80's every day we are there. Nights a bit cooler (high 50's, low 60's), but I think we will be able to handle that. Certainly no frost to contend with!
Hubby and the boys will be participating in a trout derby this weekend. It's the big fund-raiser for the Fishing Club we belong to; the A-man will also be earning some volunteer hours over the weekend.

Upcoming events...
The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of activity. Hubby has been on the afternoon shift, and I have been busy every single night of the week and each weekend. The next couple of weeks, with events planned only for weekends is going to be a nice change of pace.
Last weekend I was in Montreal. Although it is a very long drive (about 7 hours with breaks), it was a great weekend, and a lot of fun. Always good to have fun when you are working, I think; makes the job easier.
This week I have only fitness classes on my calendar. Well, that and a baking night tonight with The A-man. He has joined the Green Club at the school and they are having a fund-raising bake sale on Thursday, so tonight we are going to make apple muffins and cookie pizza. I might try and squeeze in a couple of pies for Thanksgiving weekend, too.
This coming weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving; both boys have yet another PA day on the Friday.
Saturday night we are hosting a blind wine-tasting event. Jazzy’s parents and another couple will be coming over. Each couple is responsible for bringing a bottle of white and a bottle of red from a certain region. We will cover the bottles so that no one know which wine we are tasting, then we will make our tasting notes and decide which wine is the winner. My choice for this event is wine from California – the white will be a Sauvignon Blanc and the red will be Cabernet Sauvignon.
Now, none of us are particularly wine-savvy, but it should be a fun night. I’m going to visit the local cheese monger on Friday and put together some nice cheese plates to accompany the wines.
Sunday afternoon will be the day we celebrate Thanksgiving with Hubby’s family. My brother in law’s family will be attending, as will Hubby’s parents. I don’t think we will get to see my sister in law this time around, but I am sure we will see her soon. My brother (obviously) isn’t able to attend Thanksgiving this year, and I think his wife and kids are going to visit her family for the weekend. I’m not sure if my parents will be around or not; they had talked of closing the cottage this weekend.
Next weekend; Vegas! The four ladies from the “40 & Fabulous” post are going to be leaving for Vegas on Thursday night. We are scheduled to arrive around 11pm Vegas-time on Thursday. For the Friday evening we have booked tickets to see Le Cage au Folle. The Saturday will be a bit busier – we are going to The Price is Right – Live on Saturday afternoon then in the evening, Mr. Las Vegas himself; Wayne Newton! I also have requested that we have either dessert or high tea at the Bellagio, and I want to take a gondola ride and see the dolphins. I don’t think we are going to have enough time to do all that I want to do. Either that or I won’t be sleeping much. We leave Vegas on the Sunday night at 11pm and have a brief stopover in Winnipeg. I won’t be working on the Monday.

Backyard changes
I came home from my annual “Girl’s Weekend” at the cottage to a very different looking back yard. Three trees that had been there on Friday morning we gone, as were the stumps and any evidence that they had ever been there! Each of these trees were dead, and I have been bugging Hubby for the better part of two years to get rid of them before one of them fell on the house.
The wooden swing that was incorporated in to one section of my garden had been moved, and a tractor was digging up that section of my garden when I arrived. The stump, roots, etc. from that particular tree was very big and had been giving the guys a bit of grief. I could almost FEEL the satisfaction come from both men when they were finally able to chain that stump and haul it out of there.
A very large circle – about 30 feet in diameter – has been dug out of the lawn, and somewhat graded to a level area. The circle was a bit closer to the garden area than I had originally requested, but I guess the grade of the property was such that a retaining wall would have been necessary, so they made an executive decision. Retaining walls are not exactly in the budget right now.
The only thing I was unhappy to see was where the fallen trees had been moved. The cucumbers, zucchini, and about half of my tomatoes plants are now covered with cut up trees. >:o(
I guess they didn’t realize how close they were getting to the garden? I can hardly even get IN to that one section of the veggie plants now! I am going to see if I can salvage my poor little plants tonight, but I am not holding out much hope. I guess the sacrifice of some veggie plants is a small price to pay for the assistance of a very good friend and his digger/tractor thing.
I asked what the boys had thought about the tractor, and Hubby was telling me that S actually drove it, and did a little bit of digging. During dinner, S was sure to regale me with the great stories of him “taming the beast!” It was nice to see the excitement in his eyes.
I think both boys realize that they won’t likely get to use the pool this season as it won’t be warm enough for them, but I have assured them that if they want to get in, I will let them give it a go. Our friend that was helping with the digging said that they rarely use their pool after Labour Day because the nights get too cool and the pool doesn’t warm up much. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

This just STINKS!
On the work front - assistant, pick number 1 gets offered a full time position when he attempts to tender his resignation. Pick number 2 takes two days to "think about it" and then decides that the commute is too much for the rate of pay!
So that leaves us - with no one. With the work of three people being done by 2...and these 2 being stretched to the breaking point! I don't know how much longer we can do this. Boss has a couple of ideas on how we can find someone, but we needed someone last month, not "in the next little while."
Then, to add insult to injury, my girl's weekend has fallen to pot! Well, I will have a couple of ladies joining me at the cottage, but it certainly isn't going to be the crowd we had last year. Cuz has even bowed out! I haven't got the full story on that as of yet, but you can be rest assured I will be finding out what is going on there!
I know we are going to have fun, but I just love it when we have a full house...the entertainment is always better that way. At least we are supposed to have a good weekend.
Hubby is planning on taking down a couple of dead trees this weekend, and then he going to start clearing the area for the new pool. He would like to have it all in place by the end of next weekend so that he and the boys can get to the cottage. I'm hoping he can do it! I am also hoping we get some warmer weather in September so that the kids can enjoy this thing THIS year!

How can we be 40?
Today is my friend's ("Sam") birthday. Today she is 40. This year, 2008, is the year we all turn 40. (Now, when I refer to 'we' here, I am talking about a certain group of friends of mine. I know others are already 40, and others still have years to go...)
On Saturday, to celebrate Sam's birthday, the 4 of us - the group of 4 that are turning 40 - will be having some pictures done. We haven't had any photos taken since Sam's wedding 10 years ago, and it is time. The one that I have hanging on a wall was taken when I was pregnant with S - which was taken 14 years ago at Christmas, and that is just a snap shot!
These three ladies and I all met for the first time in Grade 9 - which was in the Fall of 1981, I believe. Wow.
We have been through a lot together - boyfriends, college and university, said university parties, engagements, weddings, failed pregnancies, successful pregnancies, job interviews, house hunts... well, you get the idea. We have tried for the past couple of years to make sure that we get together for a dinner at least once a month. None of us live in the same towns or cities, so sometimes it is a bit of a chore to plan the gatherings, but for the most part we have been able to do it.
Cuz has met all of these ladies, and is often confused about the dynamics of our little foursome. If we were to have met later in life - say in to our 20's - would we have become friends? It's hard to say - we have all grown and changed so much since the shy days of being 14, and other than our history, it would be hard to find many similarities with all four of us. Oh, individually, I'm pretty sure we have common interests, but, for whatever reason, it works for us. I know that I could call any one of these ladies, at any time of day or night, and they would be there as soon as they could be. (Well, except when Dar was living in Malaysia and/or Italy...that would have been tough...)
I have always been a big believer in the power, and the pure NECESSITY of girl friends. I am a 'lifer' when it comes to friends. Heck, Bear and I met when she was 12 and I was 13 - still good friends. Lee and I met a few years before that - we have been in and out of touch over the last 20 years, but I still consider her my friend. I remember her children's birthdays... always her birthday.
My husband is my best friend - there is no doubt about that - but ever since we got married, I let him know how vital it was that I continue to spend time with my friends. We were married about 7 years before anyone else was, and I always participated in any/all 'girls' gatherings. Even after having the boys, Hubby realized it was very important to me to maintain those strong ties, and we have always been able to arrange it so that I could participate. He is such a keeper, this husband of mine.
This Fall, the four of us are planning a trip - hopefully somewhere warm - for a long weekend of fun and silliness. It will be just after my birthday - that will mean 2 down, 2 to go... and I know we will laugh until our sides hurt.
Friends...true friends are so important. Never forget to let these people know how much they mean to you! Personally, I am very grateful for the large cirlce of friends that I have. I would be lost without any one of them.

Away this weekend
Said goodbye to the boys yesterday morning, and at the end of the work day, hopped in my car to head to Cuz's house for the weekend.
We don't really have any set plans - just hanging out and being together. She is just getting ready to go, and I think she and I will spend the afternoon doing poke-about shopping. Not really looking for anything, but it's a fun way to spend the afternoon. Not clothes shopping - ick - just looking for...stuff.
It's a nice break from the everyday routine. We were pretty wild last night, I must say... she and I were drinking green tea with jasmine, and talked while watching a movie. Watch out world - we are on a tear! lol
Tomorrow I am going to a work-type event, but it will be a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to it. I should be home by supper time tomorrow night, I think.
The weather is almost summer-like. Sitting outside on the back deck, I was really kicking myself for not bringing shorts for the weekend...going to be a little warm in the cotton pants I brought, and tomorrow, I only have jeans to wear! Oh well, what can you do? I just wish the weather could be like this up until Christmas!

Results day
Today is the day we get the results of S's fMRI. I know we won't have any miraculous breakthroughs or anything like that, however, I am hoping we will be able to get a copy of the DVD to watch. Again, we won't really know what we are watching, but I still think it will be very fascinating!
I am also very interested to find out what types of therapies the doctor is going to recommend, and which - if any - mental health issues they should address. I'm sure it will be a very long, yet informative appointment.
Yesterday's "ice day" was pretty ironic - it was 8 (above freezing) for most of the day, and all of the snow/ice on the driveway melted, and a lot of the snow off the deck melted. Crazy to think they called the buses off the road for such a nice day! The R-man informed me this morning, though, that they are calling for a winter storm tonight. Nice. March - lion to lamb...I guess we have to see the lion part to appreciate the lamb, right?
Speaking of lamb, I am going to be heading down to Cuz's house this weekend to go to the Canada Bloom's Show. She doesn't live real close to where the show is held, but at least she is closer than I. Now, that said, I have made a big boo-boo, and done a wee bit of double-booking myself this weekend. But, I think a workable plan has been hatched, and we will STILL get to spend some quality time together - which we have not been able to do as much as we like to do normally.
Cuz, I won't be able to arrive until close to supper time on Saturday evening - Hubby is working Friday night, and I have an appointment/date with Jazzy's mom earlier on Saturday, so I thought I would be able to make it for drinks on Saturday, then we could head to the show on Sunday. Would that work?? I won't rush away after the show, but I think that is going to be the most workable option right now.
The A-man just read my last sentence over my shoulder and said, "Ugh...you are leaving again?? Every weekend you leave us...you hate us don't you?" He knows that is not true, but he sure does know how to pull on those heart strings...
Speaking of the A-man...toes are still looking icky, but I think we have been able to drain most of the infection. I am going to monitor things, and continue to pick at things, for a couple of days, and if I don't think I am going to be able to be successful with the hang nail, I will be making a doctor's appointment.
Hubby and I have made an appointment with a nutritionist for March 17. We have been planning on going to see her for quite a while, but the past few months have been just far to chaotic to even consider doing major dietary changes, too. It is time.

It is time.

I'm afraid to say it out loud...
...in fact, I just can't do it because I think it will jinx things.
Tonight, after dinner, both boys got right to their homework, with no arguments, with no tears, and with no problems what so ever. Do you know why I can't say it out loud yet?
While we were having dinner, I mentioned that I had to leave around 7pm for an ADHD meeting, and asked what homework had been assigned. S volunteered that he had both Math and Geography homework, and the A-man told me they did a Science lab today, and he needed to complete the report for a hand in tomorrow. I suggested they keep in mind that I was only going to be available for 'homework duty' until 7.
Right after they finished clearing the supper dishes, S pulled out his Math homework while I was loading up the Science lab template we had created when the A-man completed his last lab. While I was doing that, I could hear the A-man explaining to S about how to go about calculating the area of certain shapes, etc. (!!) The A-man has never helped his brother with homework, and he told me that he was missing doing math, so he was happy to help. (Okay...sounds good to me...)
I was able to download my email, then even go down to my office to print some information for my meeting, and both boys continued on with their homework. I am so amazed. S was finished before I left for my meeting, and the A-man was happily typing away on the computer. When I returned, he explained to me that he didn't complete the lab because he had deleted some columns from the table on the template, then tried to centre the table, and ran in to some difficulties. I adjusted it as best I could - basically just did a cut and paste to another template - and then he sat down right away and finished putting in the information! Yes, I am in shock.
While the A-man was printing his lab, I noticed that his Science book has a lot of loose papers not put in the right places, so I think he is going to need a bit more help with keeping his notes organized. I might send an email to his Learning Strategies teacher about that tomorrow... mmm, maybe not. I think I will recommend he work on getting that put away during his lunch break, and if it doesn't come home tomorrow night in a more organized fashion, I will take the next step.
Went over S's safe plan and IEP last night. For the most part, I am happy with both documents, and I am willing to sign the Safe Plan as it is currently written. The IEP still has a number of vague statements that I would like to see tightened up and clarified, but even if that is done, it doesn't mean the teacher is going to follow it, does it? But, my hope is now that S has an EA we will see a bit more of the IEP being followed.
We have a specialist appointment tomorrow. I actually sent him an email this afternoon letting him know about the Team Meeting that was held last week, and what sorts of details the school is requesting. Just received a reply email from him telling me that he will have the documentation ready when we arrive for the meeting. I must say, this online subscription for this doctor is worth the monthly fee. I will be stopping the service after S has his fMRI, but until then, I like knowing that I can post my concerns on a secure, password protected forum and the doctor will reply within a day or two.
He also indicated that he would have some details about the changes that often occur when children start to enter puberty. Of course, we all know what happens, but when you have a child with a very delicate mental state, I'm sure there will be many things to keep in mind. I know the doctor is wanting to start to reduce the anxiety medication S is taking, and that will probably be the number one agenda item tomorrow afternoon.
The weather has started to become more Fall-like. I am not happy about the cool, damp days that we have had the last two days. It's very hard getting out of bed when the sky is still so dark. From the forecast, it doesn't appear to be ready to let up, either. Ugh...soon they will be calling for snow.

Recovering...
Whew - what a weekend! I am dead-dog tired, and it took 3 snooze button pushes to coax myself out of bed this morning, but I think it was worth it! Had a great time in Montreal, and even though I was officially there to 'work', I must say, it was the best work weekend I've ever had.
A big ole "THANK YOU" to Cuz...for allowing me to stay at the B&B on Thursday evening, and again for the coffee pit stop yesterday afternoon. I needed that break - 6 hours of driving at once is too much! Was good to take that break before I did the final stretch of the drive.
The A-man did a great job with his revised Science Lab. He worked on it all by himself, and only asked Hubby for a bit of a reminder of how to insert a table in to the word document. I resisted for as long as I could, but ended up sneaking a peek at it this morning. I think this will be more in line with what the teacher was looking for. I'm proud of him for making sure he completed it without much prompting. I'm also very glad the teacher allowed the revision. I saw what he had handed in originally. It was very poorly done.
S didn't have any homework over the weekend. The Terry Fox run was on Thursday, and it sounds like the rest of the day was just a fun day for the whole school. Of course, I'm sure it would have nothing to do with the next day being a PA day...
Dropped S off at school after his doctor's appointment, and since the school was out doing the run, I was able to have a good chat with her. I think I may have to educate her a bit about the conditions that affect S, but for the most part, I think her philosophies are in line with hubby and I. This is good.
I have a meeting with the A-man's resource teacher tomorrow. Going to beg and pled for further testing. Well, no, not really - just going to fully present my case, and present the newest information. I know they don't like to do 'testing' at the highschool level, but if it needs to be done...
Maybe, just maybe we are getting there.
Oh, and a special "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to Loonie! I hope your 40th b-day is great, and I hope your first day back to work went well for you. You have a great baby - I'm sure he will do well while you go back to work. Thinking of you!

...and tonight...
I'm very tired. Back is sore...just....tired.
Why is it that when the kids go back to school, it simply means that all aspects of a crazy existence has to begin again, too? Run here, run there, do this, get that done... (sigh)...I'm in need of some down time. A bit of a girls weekend, perhaps? I am going to see my cousin this weekend. She has been to see me a number of times at the cottage this summer, but I haven't made it up to her weekend place at all this summer, so I am going to go on Saturday. Was hoping to go last weekend, but those plans got bumped. It should be a fun time. We will eat too much, talk a lot...share a few cocktails, I'm sure. Will probably do me a world of good to have some 'away' time. Also does hubby some good to spend some quality time with the boys.
When I arrived back home from my board meeting, I was pleased to see that the boys had done what I had asked them to do. Again, for the most part. They never do the "whole" job - the correct way (aka - the way I would do it) but I always remember to thank them for their efforts, and tell them that I appreciate their help. Sometimes I will offer a few 'tips' on improving how certain things can be done, but if they are going to attempt it, I do not want to tick them off by telling them it's not 'right.' (Trust me - as a child I was often told what I didn't do right - kids remember.)
The best part? They completed their homework!!! Both of them! ALL of it! Now, I had S working on his while I was preparing dinner, but he didn't whine, or complain, or anything when I suggested he get to work on it. He just got it out and got to it. I am still in a bit of shock to be honest. Hey, don't get me wrong - I am THRILLED with them doing this! True signs of progress, I would say. (touching wood, though...)
As a board member of the ADHD group in the nearby city, I am the 'special events coordinator.' We are currently about to start a membership drive. I have a number of things to work on over the next few days, but it's just a bit of modifications to existing documents. And you know, I don't mind doing that 'work' - it's for a very good cause, and I feel very strongly that an educated parent is a force to be reckoned with. Which is why I volunteer for this group.
Actually, speaking of educating parents - the lady that came over for some advice a few weekends ago phoned me tonight. She is distraught over the IEP that has come home for her daughter. Again. In the past she would have been angry and upset about it, but she would have signed it. Not this time. This time around she is becoming informed. She is learning about how to approach the school on a more educated level - not a hot-headed parent level. I made a few suggestions, and I am hoping she is successful in getting the resources her daughter needs. I know this woman can rub people the wrong way, but her harshness really shouldn't impede her daughter's educational support. I'm trying - as nicely as I can - to empower her, and to teach her that abrasive isn't the way to go. I think she is finally realizing my theory. (It's only been 10 years that I have been trying to explain this...) Her daughter really is a sweet kid - but, I think the teachers (and principal - no, she doesn't go to school with S) are letting their negative opinions of the mother transfer to the child. And that isn't right.
She has borrowed some books, and started to do a little more reading from the Ministry of Education's website. I'd love to have more and more parents become informed. If I have to do it one parent at a time, at least it's one more child that is getting helped. I know we have gone to hell and back trying to get the educational supports we have needed for our sons, but now that we are starting to come out of that tunnel, and I really want to do what I can to help others!

So, this is cool - I have a blog!
I just noticed tonight that my friend Bear has a blog. Never been to it before, but tonight I checked it out. And decided I, too, needed to blog. Does anybody READ a blog? I mean, really? I know lots of people WRITE them, but does anyone really take the time necessary to read another person's blog? I'm no one special - does anyone out there really care about what I have to say?
I read Bear's blog. Every single post. Some of them made me sad. Well, her most recent one didn't - it was very positive and upbeat. The ones she wrote in the winter - they made me feel very bad for my friend. I think it's great that she is on the mend. Mental health issues truly bite the big one.
My youngest son (S) has mental health issues. It pisses me off when I hear people make negative comments about those suffering in silence. He's only a little kid! He didn't ask to have these problems, nor did he do anything WRONG. (Dumb asses.)
And, no, we aren't bad parents - we haven't "done something wrong" to "make" him turn out this way. Whatever. It's a very real, very painful disorder - just one that can't be seen to the naked eye. Mental health issues are just as real as MS, or lukeimia, or cancer. Are you going to fault the parent, or the person suffering, because they have cancer?? You'd be one sick puppy if you did. But, S has a great doctor, and he will likely be going for an fMRI in the next little while. This is an actual, factual brain scan. It will tell us (and the school personelle) what is really happening with his strangely-wired brain.
Okay - don't know where that all came from. Oh, right, Bear's blog. Anyway, I'm going to see Bear this weekend. I'm looking forward to it. She and I have known each other for more than 25 years, and we were always close. Then, about 2 years ago, I think she broke up with me, but just didn't tell me. Now I know what was going on with her at the time, and I understand (truly, I do) but I was so sad at the time to realize I'd been dumped, and I had no clue what I had done wrong! But, we are back on again! (Isn't it great when people get back together??) So, this Saturday should be a lot of fun.
I had a 'girl's weekend' at the cottage last weekend. There were 6 of us in total, and it was way more fun than I thought it would have been. You know how it can be when you introduce 3 sets of friends - most of whom have never met before? Yeah - I was the only common denominator in that mix. But, it worked out well, and I think it will become an annual event.
The bitchy-boss'-ex is still in the office. God she drives me nuts. Loved the comment today, "Did your boss buy you lunch AGAIN today? It's so nice that he buys you lunch. I don't know why you even bother to BRING a lunch." Yeah, cuz I'm after your hairy Italian BeeYotch!! She's a goon, and I can not wait for her to get her fake-blond ass out of that office. It was supposed to happen over a year ago, so I am NOT holding my breath.
So, that is my first blog. Interesting. Sort of random thoughts, just set down for people to read. Interesting.
